"Finally we were able to visit the statue of Captain Mainwaring. It was a pleasure to find him in good shape in this beautiful setting with the Union Jack arrow and the red path paving. Just like in the intro of the series. In the Netherlands Dad's Army is known as "Daar komen de Schutters". In the past it brought me allways good pleasure to watch the series. The characters were spot-on. My favorite was/is "Jones The Butcher"."
