Visitors are consistently impressed by the grandeur of Blenheim Palace and its stunning Capability Brown-designed grounds. Many highlight its significance as a filming location for popular shows and movies. However, some find the full entry price to be quite high, leading many to explore cost-saving options like accessing only the grounds.
"When we arrived, the ticket prices nearly knocked me off my feet - HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised. Breathtaking. Vast. Incredibly well maintained and staffed. Coffee shop was stunning too - get the carrot cake!
There’s so much to see, give yourself plenty of time. Gardens are spectacular.
Current roof access isa really cool touch too!"
Ella
"Well worth a visit, it has the wow factor, such a large impressive palace. You need a full day or more to see and visit everywhere. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are places to get refreshments, toilets etc. in several areas and facilities for the disabled Plenty of interesting, woodland and lakeside walks. A little train, children's play area, a very good maze. The Palace itself is magnificent, at the moment there is some restoration work taking place, but this does not spoil the visit, in fact allows a visit to see the views from the roof area."
Janette
"Only did a walk through the park outside the palace - for free. They are currently restoring the main facade (August 2025), so the pictures of the palace from outside are not going to be awesome with the huge scaffolding there. Tip for free visit: go there when the palace is closed (19-20h), you can walk along the lake and bridges outside the palace, and have an amazing sunset light to take impressive pictures. The Harry potter's tree is also there. Is pretty full of midges / mosquitoes, so put some spray on you."
