What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unique Victorian dinosaur sculptures and the historical significance of the park, particularly the subway. It's considered a great free day out for families and history enthusiasts. However, some find the park's amenities limited and can be disappointed by ongoing regeneration works.
"Please don't waste your time coming here until the reconstruction work is finished next summer! The main attractions like the dinosaurs were all being worked on, you couldn't walk near them and there was just fields and fields of mud and sludge everywhere and wouldn't be worth people making the journey to come and visit if you're visiting London. Luckily it was on our doorstep so when we visited it didn't matter. However, a lot of it felt rundown and dirty anyway with old dated graffiti and lifeless concrete. There's probably somw better options!"

"This is a wonderful park to relax, exercise, picnic, or whatever you enjoy doing in a green space. If you take the train to get here, grab a coffee and a snack at the little shop in the station! The Bacon Breakfast Buttie is delicious 😋"
Juan Gonzalez
"Went to walk the former F1 track but also enjoyed watching tricks at the skate park - with multiple bowls, got lost in the maze + enjoyed a coffee on the concert stage.
Great place to spend a nice day."
