Visitors appreciate the children's play area, sports courts, and the pleasant atmosphere, especially when seasonal events like funfairs are present. However, the cafe's early closing time and parking challenges during busy periods are noted drawbacks.
"Brilliant park but even better now because the incredible Easter Funfair is in Town and all set up here for 17 days. Always a nice bonus and all rides only £2 each no cons. Anchorsholme Park in the sunshine with a funfair on just can't be beaten!"

"A good place for children to play with a lot of variety. Very well organised with padded/soft floors to lessen impact/injury in case there is a fall. There's a nice café on site although the place closes at 3pm. A variety of meals and iced cream are available. Be ready to spend 3 to 4 hours at the park."

"ANCHORSHOLME PARK HAS IT ALL
There’s lots of volunteers that work very hard for free in the park, especially both of the “Paul’s” to keep it so tidy and colourful.
It’s a great place for responsible dog walkers and their dogs plus for children to play in the safe enclosed play area.
There’s also a tennis court football court and basketball court for those with the energy and after using all that energy up go in the lovely Cafe for a snack or meal.
Finally after all that as your leaving the park call in for a game of bowls or why not try boules - (there’s a much posher word to describe that but I’m not a good speller especially in French).
There’s bands on and other entertainments like a fairground and stalls in summer.
So plenty of to do for the young and old, you may even see our cocker spaniel and war hero !!
Regards
