Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Aberglaslyn Pass, calling it a 'fairytale' and one of Eryri's gems. The dramatic gorge, clear river, and varied walking trails are consistently praised. While some find the main gorge path challenging, the accessible paved route from Beddgelert offers a delightful experience for all.

"This is a fabulous walk which you can make as long, or as short as you like.
Walk from the village to the pedestrian and rail bridge for an easy, flat walk that is paved all the way and suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
But for the really spectacular views you need to take the rougher path that at times becomes a bit of a rock scramble, up the gorge.
Again, go as far as you want and turn back, or, get to the road bridge and come back down the other side.
It’s mostly flat, and in a few hours you’ve seen a great slice of this area."

"Such a beautiful spot – felt like something out of a fairytale. The walk through the woods is peaceful, with all these twisty trees and mossy rocks that make it feel super magical. The path follows the river, and there are loads of little places to stop and just take it all in.

Even though it was a bit wet when I went, the trail wasn’t too tricky and actually made everything look even more lush. Perfect for a chilled-out walk, taking photos, or just escaping into nature for a bit.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area – one of those places that feels special as soon as you arrive."
