What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hatta Kayak offers a refreshing and affordable escape with stunning mountain views. Visitors praise the calm waters, well-maintained equipment, and peaceful atmosphere, especially when visiting on weekdays. While the drive from Dubai is notable, the serene experience and fair pricing make it a worthwhile destination for a nature-filled day out.
"I have visited Hatta Kayak twice. My first visit was during the national holiday in December and it was extremely crowded with long waiting times. My most recent visit was much smoother and more enjoyable.
I live in Ajman and the ride took around an hour and a half. The entry process was easy since the parking was right on the side of the road. There was a queue to get the tickets, but it was empty because we went in the middle of the week, not on a weekend. Everything was organized and they gave us a card for each person because we chose the single kayaks.
The life jackets were clean and simple to adjust. The kayaks and pedal boats were in excellent condition and very easy to use. The water was calm and made the whole experience relaxing.
There was absolutely no waiting time for the boats because the place was not crowded at all.
The price was fair for the experience. We took the single kayak which cost sixty dirhams per person with unlimited time on the water.
The overall vibe was peaceful and refreshing. The mountains surrounding the lake make the view feel unreal and the quiet atmosphere lets you enjoy the scenery without any stress. It is the kind of place where you forget the city for a while and just enjoy the moment."

The rental process is easy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a great place for families, friends, or anyone looking for a peaceful outdoor adventure near Dubai. Highly recommend visiting early in the morning for the best experience and fewer crowds."

"Long drive/ bus ride from dubai but worth the time. Single kayaks cost only AED 60 for unlimited time and you can kayak in the reservoir within the safety bounds. Life guards are on duty and on patrol on boats. You get a life jacket and a locker. Lockers are in the sun so be aware lockers can get warm in the hot sun."
