What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hatta Wadi Hub is praised for its stunning natural beauty, offering a refreshing escape from Dubai's city life. Visitors love the variety of adventure activities and the serene Hatta Dam. However, some find the pricing for certain activities a bit high, and a full day might be needed to experience everything.
"We spent one night in the vintage caravan and had such a lovely experience! The month of May is perhaps not the best time of the year to go, as it was super hot, but we still had a great time, between zipline, climbing, water slides and all available activities on the site. The camp is perfectly equipped with a great cafe, juice shop for the heat, and all the other food trucks! Super friendly staff; definitely coming again next season!"

"Great experience in weekend getaway. Incredible views in hatta. Perfect for a weekend trip. Hike, trails, kayaking and many more activities for adults and kids both. Bit of a cozy location still worth for the money. Highly recommended for solo and family."

"I visited Hatta Wadi Hub recently, and I must say I was extremely disappointed by the entire experience.
Cleanliness:
The place was shockingly dirty. The showers were absolutely filthy, with no sign that they’d been cleaned regularly—or even at all. Brown water was coming out of the shower, which was both disgusting and completely unacceptable. Even worse, there was hardly any water coming out at all, making it impossible to shower properly. The sink was filled with hair and brown stains which is disgusting. We actually had to visit the hotel next door just to be able to take a proper shower—that’s how bad it was.
Privacy and Cultural Sensitivity:
The ladies’ shower room door was left wide open, which is a serious privacy violation that left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed. We live in the UAE, a Muslim country where privacy and respect in ladies’ bathrooms are very important. It was shocking that the staff did not respect this basic standard. I even raised this with the manager, but it didn’t seem like they took my complaint seriously at all.
Staff:
The staff were disappointingly unhelpful and clearly not in the mood to work. They showed no energy or enthusiasm and were not welcoming at all. It was also very disappointing that they were so poorly trained—when I asked one staff member about showers, they said yes, but another staff member later told me no, which just showed a lack of communication and professionalism.
Overall:
This place left me feeling completely let down and disappointed. It’s dirty, disorganized, and does not represent the country well. I truly believe it should be closed until they fix these serious hygiene, training, and cultural sensitivity issues."
