What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Ilya Repin Museum an interesting, albeit small, place with a pleasant atmosphere and dedicated staff. While it doesn't house Repin's famous works, it showcases art from the Repin competition and historical exhibits. The adjacent Travel Palace is noted for its significant disrepair, contrasting with the museum's upkeep.
"An interesting place, but very few locations to explore. A hallway and two rooms, one with paintings, the second with the history of this place. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the visit is for one time.
Let's hope that after the reconstruction it will be better.
Entrance - 10 UAH / person. Excursion - 30 UAH. We waited 15 minutes for the guide."
Julia Lenz
"The I.E. Repin House Museum is definitely worth a visit! Beautiful paintings, antique furniture, very cozy and well-kept territory, everything in flowers. Nice staff. The Travel Palace spoiled the mood - the walls are crumbling! Where are the local authorities looking???? Shame! The art museum is not so deplorable, if you close your eyes to the facade. It is worth a visit, very interesting and informative."
Анжела Кресало
"Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing to see, two rooms and photos on the walls, building plans and a bit of history, it should be more interesting with a tour."
