The Ribat's panoramic views and the charming, traditional cafes are frequently highlighted as must-see attractions. "worth the visit!
beautiful historical landmark, reasonable ticket price (8 TDN for adults), about 30 minutes time needed.
the views from the tower are superb."

Marius G

"Great unique experience in Sousse close to the beach. Kids tickets again cost 2 dinar and adults 8 dinar. The old defence fortress is maintained well, toilet facilities provided and great views of the Sousse (minus piles of rubbish as your view in some places). Keep in mind to get to the tower you have to climb up a narrow staircase."

Alicja Blaz

"A nice little Islamic fort in the centre of Sousse. As with most of Tunisia the entry fee was very cheap and the views from the tower are great. One word of warning, if you are claustrophobic I don't recommend climbing the tower as it's got very narrow stairs and will be a struggle for bigger people."
