What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Phitsanulok Walking Street is a highly recommended Saturday night destination, praised for its incredible variety of delicious and affordable street food, as well as its lively atmosphere and bargain shopping. While it can get very crowded, the vibrant local experience and the sheer culinary diversity make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. The absence of alcohol and occasional lack of trash cans are minor drawbacks.
"Maybe because it was weekend, but this night bazaar left a stronger impression on us than those in Bangkok.
Entire street, more than a km long was packed on both sides, as well in the middle, with hundreds of stalls. High quality and tasty food of all kinds was freshly prepared in the first section by the river with great views of it and two temples.
After the food section there were clothes, souvenirs, artwork and other stalls.
We spent around 2 hours there having great dinner for a bargain and really great time mixing with locals.
The only downside is absence of trash cans and beer which was impossible to find"

"It's a really nice place to visit. I find it organized, a lot of things to buy for an affordable or reasonable price. A lot of thai food, some are just for those people like me who dare to try different kinds of flavors (see picture). They even have cats (as pets, of course) there, and I really love cats 🐈 . I couldn't take so many pictures because it was so crowded, I -try- to don't harass anyone with taking pictures. Anyway, I think the day to visit there is Saturday evening until 9 PM. For me, I prefer to go around 7 PM when is starting cool a little bit down the weather. If you do not enjoy massively crowded places, it is not gonna be the greatest option. But I encourage you to visit it (maybe after 8.20 PM at least, that is less crowded, but everything is about to close by that time as it closes 9 PM). Beautiful Phitsanulok 🤩"

"This is why Thailand is king of the street foods. Hardly any vendors sold the same dish (except bottled waters, fruit, and these little balloon juices for kids.) There's just so much variety. We couldn't eat all the ones we wanted because we got so full."
