The MY World
"Wat Nang Phaya: It is believed, based on various sources, that Phra Visutthikathari, the queen consort of King Maha Thammaracha and the mother of King Naresuan, established Wat Nang Phaya during the restoration of Wat Ratchaburana, around 2090–2100 BE. At that time, Phitsanulok was a royal city, and the queen held the position of the governor of Songkhwae, while King Maha Thammaracha held the title of Uparaja (deputy king) of Ayutthaya.
If you have some free time, it is recommended to visit and experience something new in Phitsanulok Province."

"One of Pitsanulok's historic temples is Wat Nang Phaya. There is nothing wrong with the location, only my emotions. I was quite dismayed to see what they had done with it. The temple has a walkway surrounding it that is similar to the ones found in other temples. There are trash piles along the path rather than Buddha statues. Finding the ideal angle for your shot is really difficult inside the temple. There are numerous setting blocks outside that hide the lovely thing. I feel very down."
