"This place is ideal for anyone looking to unwind. It’s quiet, peaceful, and far from the hustle and bustle of the city. I had the chance to take a boat ride with the locals and enjoy the stunning scenery around the dam. The experience was especially magical after the rain in the late afternoon, just before sunset — the view was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend taking a boat ride during that time of day. It’s one of those simple yet unforgettable moments."

"Randomly stopped by to enjoy the view and it ended up being an adventure in itself. Beautiful view and was a nice little walk up and down the road. We ended up speaking to a local who took us on a private boat tour to visit the islands, we fed some swimming monkeys, took some pictures on a large bridge, and we toured where King Rama 9 stays when he visits. You don’t have to take the boat ride but if you have the time, I highly suggest you do. It was a very unique experience and lasted around an hour."

"Impressive dam in a beautiful surrounding. Especially during or the end of the rainy season when the water level is high. Not too busy and one can make boat trips there. The roads a to the dam are pretty new and easy to take."
