"I visited this aquarium near Gloria Outlet before heading to the airport, and it turned out to be a really nice stop. The place isn’t very large, but it’s well organized and easy to explore. You can comfortably walk through all the exhibits in about two to three hours, which makes it a good short trip before a flight or shopping nearby.

Inside, there are many kinds of sea creatures on display — from colorful tropical fish, penguins, and jellyfish, to larger marine animals like crabs and different species of deep-sea fish. Each section has clear glass tanks and good lighting, which makes it easy to see and take photos. I especially enjoyed the jellyfish area with the glowing lights and calm atmosphere.

The environment felt clean and well maintained. It wasn’t too crowded when I visited, so I could take my time looking at each tank. There are also a few small shops and snack areas near the exit if you want to buy souvenirs or grab a quick bite.

Overall, it’s a nice and relaxing aquarium to visit near Gloria Outlet. It’s not huge like some others, but it’s enjoyable, easy to reach, and perfect for spending a couple of hours before heading to the airport."

"Xpark was such a great experience! It’s not just an aquarium but also a place full of information, interactive displays, and endless opportunities for photos and videos. Everywhere you go, there’s something eye-catching, whether it’s the tanks with vibrant marine life or the unique design of the spaces.

One of the best things I really appreciated is that if your scheduled show isn’t starting for a while, you can actually stamp your hand and leave the venue to explore the building, then come back later. That made the visit feel so flexible and convenient, especially since we didn’t have to just sit around waiting.

We managed to catch the seal show, which was fun and entertaining, but the absolute highlight for me was definitely the penguins! Watching them up close was such a joyful experience, they were adorable and so full of energy.

Overall, Xpark is a perfect mix of learning, fun, and relaxation. Whether you’re there for the shows, the marine life, or just the aesthetic photo and video spots, it’s a memorable place to visit. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for something special to do in Taiwan!"

A Must-Visit Aquarium Experience in Taoyuan, Taiwan!

I was so impressed with the state-of-the-art technology and care that went into creating XPark Aquarium. Even though it’s not huge, every section was fascinating and beautifully designed. The attention to detail kept me intrigued from start to finish.

They even offer an app (Linné Lense) for visitors who don’t speak Chinese — it identifies the species of fish you see in real time. Loved that feature!

This aquarium has something for every age group. There’s a whole interactive area for families with kids, an outdoor animal section, and a play area too.

Some highlights for me:
🐠 The two-level aquarium with sharks, sting rays, and an amazing variety of fish — plus a scuba diver feeding show that was mesmerizing.

⭐️ The starfish display — I rarely see these at other aquariums and it brought back childhood memories. The colors were not how I remember them!

🐸 The Surinam toad exhibit was fascinating (and a little wild!) with fun facts about how they give birth through their backs.

🦭 The spotted seals were playful and photogenic — I could have watched them for hours.

💡 The diaphonized fish lighting display above was stunning! (Tip: don’t try to buy them as souvenirs — they can’t travel through customs.)

✨ The jellyfish room was pure magic — especially the “fried egg jellyfish” and the incredible light show.

🐧 And the penguins! Watching them waddle, slide, and swim through tunnels visible from the café below was so entertaining - great while having a refreshing treat!

XPark Aquarium is interactive, educational, and simply beautiful. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, it’s absolutely worth a visit! It is also very inexpensive to visit. I was there a little over two hours and could have stayed longer. (I didn't visit the animals outside or play area)."
