"Spent the day yesterday at the Verbier bike park.
Rode Tsapo twice. Super chill, easy riding and a great warm up.
Bortabitche was my favourite because it had a long boardwalk/ladder-bridges all the way across the sketchy stones making for a really cool adventure for which I had never seen before. Access this trail from la chaux express gondola. It’s a black but rideable - just a few steep berms but rideable if you have flow.
We took the 5 kms traverse (La Planie) from the Medran 2 gondola over to Croix de Couer. It is flat and completely manageable. You can get onto Tsopu from this traverse as well. Once we reached Croix de Couer we pedalled over to and dropped into Chotatai (about 1/4 down) and rode that to the bottom, back up the gondola to the top. We were hungry by this time so had lunch at the restaurant at Croix de Couer. The Chotatai was a long bermy well maintained course that seemed to go forever!! We then took the La Planie back to Tsopu for our first down; Tsopu down the second time after we did Bordabitche
All trails well marked with names and coloured tape flags to confirm skill level.
Snacks (cafe and fruit tart) at Ice Cube was yummy and the atmosphere vibing.
Lots of paragliding everywhere and beautiful to watch.
Our experience all day was incredible. Stunning views. Super cheap - all day ride pass for the bike park $19 CH with the Verbier fun pass."
