What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
While the gondola offers stunning alpine views and convenient access to Verbier, some visitors have encountered issues with confusing parking, inconsistent operating hours, and unhelpful staff. The integration with SBB ticketing is a plus, but clear communication regarding facilities and schedules could be improved.
"We were here in mid October 2021 and it wasn't a nice experience. The only running gondola was the one from Médran to Les Ruinettes everything else was closed.
There is no parking close to Médran and signs for parking are super confusing. Once we managed to park across the tourist office we walked to Médran and our girls had to pee. We went up to the gondola and asked about all toilet. The answer was that she didn't know (how weird is that?). Then we went back down and asked at the ticket booth. The answer was that there was no toilet due to construction.
The whole experience was just pretty awful. There would have been a toilet at the top in Les Ruinettes, would have been simple tool tell us.
Staff also was on the rude side (which is totally opposed to all of our other interactions in verbier area)."

"Good connection with the train station in Lev Chable. You can also go to the cable car with a stroller, but be careful, the cabins are relatively small, so e.g. we had to fold the stroller to get in. The interior of the cabin on the cable car is a little worn, otherwise ok, fulfills its function. The advantage is that you can buy a ticket for this cable car in the SBB app and then just scan it, transport on the cable car to Verbier is integrated with the railway."
