What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Männlichen Gondola for its absolutely breathtaking views and the spectacular alpine scenery. The Cliff Walk and Royal Walk are highlighted as must-do experiences. However, many find the ticket prices to be quite expensive, and the gondolas can get crowded, especially during peak times.
"Get the bus from Grindelwald train station and ride 2 stops. Cable Car entrance is on right up a slope with some steps. Gondolas are designed for 4 persons and they like to fill them.
At the top is a self service and table service restraints. A large travel souvenir shop. Many paths, zip lines, bike hire, cliff walk.
It gets very crowded so go as early as you can."
Mike Mullen
"We had a great holiday in Grindelwald. The trips to the Männlichen and into the Jungfrau region were wonderful. The Gondelbahm to the Männlichen is extraordinary and the view is worth every Swiss Rappen."
Jochen Rasp
"We took this chair lift after getting more information from the tourist centre in Grindelwald. It was about 180 francs per person. Pretty expensive but the views were breath taking. When I got to the top their was a children’s play area and another building which I believe was a cafeteria. Their was a viewing deck to take pics and a 360 degree view of all other mountains. I think it’s worth it but it is definitely over priced."
