Many appreciate the well-maintained green spaces and the opportunity for peaceful walks. Some note the lack of on-site amenities like cafes and express concern over the mistreatment of wildlife at the salamander fountain.

"I went there the first week of September. Bike not allowed, but beautiful walk road with greeeeen everywhere. I loved fresh air. Wish I could go there again during Mid-summer ;)"

"Beautiful park surrounding the beautiful Ramlosa water source. Many historical buildings have been turned into private homes, what gives the park a very cozy and vibrant feeling. I kept one star away in the rating because of the sad experience we had at the salamander fountain: a group of boys were catching the poor animals and mistreated them despite of the sign there and my vocal warnings. A man working in the adjacent building came out and also told them to stop, what I am very grateful for. Nevertheless, I feel that it is up to the municipality to ensure that no one hurts those endangered animals."
