What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Grinda is widely praised as a beautiful and accessible island in the Stockholm archipelago, perfect for day trips or short stays. Visitors love its natural scenery, sandy beaches, and the relaxing atmosphere, though some note it can get busy during peak times.
"Such a great island to visit. It's a great day-trip from stockholm if you like nature. One of the best islands to visit in the archipelago in my opinion. There are very few inhabitants and the little town is cute. I recommend going to Klubbudden, a great view point at the south of the island, if you can, make sure to enjoy the sunset there. I also recommend passing by the farm which is really cute and has nice animals. Keep your eyes opened for an eagle 😉. Make sure to have good shoes because not every path is great."

"A great medium-sized island worthy of a day trip from Stockholm or as a standalone destination for a few-days break. Unlike some of the islets ot's still not overrun with tourists."
Piotr Michalski
"It's a small nice island with few sand beach to explore. Two hotels and two restaurants and a cafe. There were lots of families with children around. So it's child friendly. And there is a very small hike that give you a chance to hide from the crowd and relax in the rocks by the sea. People can camp or rent a tent there."
