After a week in Portugal we say goodbye to the Pasteis de Nata, the Meihas de Leite, the lovely people and the stunning landscapes to enter into Spain. ...

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Tui Cathedral and Old Town for its beautiful architecture, stunning tower views, and historical charm. The self-guided audio tour is a well-received feature, making the history accessible. However, some find the steep cobblestone streets challenging and note that interior access is primarily through timed tours.

"We arrived in the morning and it wasn’t possible to go in as the “tour” didn’t start until 10! Just put our head into the entrance for a snap. That is all the time it was worth even if you wanted to spend for € for audio guide of garden and the tower. We were on bikes and the effort to navigate the steep cobblestone streets wasn’t worth the effort. There are better ones out there that don’t charge."
