"Not that big, but it's still beautiful.
Just look at the pictures.
And if you have the Toledo Museum Pass, don't miss it."

"Gorgeous school! It’s such a precious place to visit and I would recommend purchasing a €12 wrist band as it includes entry to 7 of the biggest sights in Toledo!"

"WARNING, Interesting place to visit, BUT only if you are happy to look an idiot for 7 days and have a sore wrist, should you buy the Toledo Monumental tourist wristband that gives access to 7 monuments like I did!
The bright red wristband with sharp edged plastic QR code badge is FITTED to you AND MUST NOT BE TAKEN OFF for 7 days. Indeed, I couldn't take it off as it is designed to make it impossible to loosen it. If you remove it (I cut the tape as it was hurting my wrist), when you present the plastic fob with QR code you are RUDELY told "NO! Invalid. Read the Terms and Conditions. Only valid if still on the wrist!!!".
Show them the email I had received with the purchase that stated who I was, how much I had paid, the QR code etc Answer "NO!!!"
Tell them it hurt, I felt an idiot, that being romantic wearing nothing but a sharp edged wristband in bed was not conducive..........(Enough. Too much information)....… elicited... "NO, INVALID!!!"
I tried a couple of other venues and (you guessed it) "NO! INVALID" Even when I complained that no one had pointed out this lunatic requirement when the manacle (sorry, wristband) was put on..."NO!"
And all so stupidly unnecessary. If they really are so paranoid about wristbands being passed to friends and relatives for free-be visits, their computer system should log the QR code as it is scanned at each location and remember it for 7 days (no big technical deal) OR go back to the days of bus tickets and issue a credit card sized cardboard ticket with QR code plus the 7 venues listed, and punch a hole in the ticket at each venue.
Eventually, one nice young man with a vocabulary that extended beyond "NO!" explained that if I went back to the first monument that I happened to visit, there (and strangely only at that randomly chosen monument) they could issue a note to say I wasn't cheating the system. I did as he said and got my 'Honest John' note, but at 75 years old, traipsing downhill right across town, getting approved, then traipsing all the way back uphill to the other monuments was no joke.
The venues were moderately interesting but not fantastic, and certainly not worth all the hassle of this stupid ticketing system.
On a bright note, the city's tourist information had two delightful, intelligent and extremely helpful ladies on duty when we visited. What a contrast."

Navigating the Toledo Monumental Wristband
Key issues include the wristband being fitted tightly and designed to be impossible to loosen, leading to discomfort and skin irritation. If the wristband is removed, even accidentally or due to pain, it is invalidated, and visitors are often rudely denied entry to subsequent sites. One traveler detailed a frustrating experience where they had to travel back to the first monument visited to obtain a special note to prove they weren't cheating the system, which involved considerable effort and backtracking.
