"The fortified building of Masía Illa dates back to the 16th century. Built on a rocky base, it has a rectangular floor plan. The building was burned during the First Carlist War in 1833 and somewhat altered by restorations in the 1970s. The building was acquired by Pals City Council and converted into the "Pals Museum and Cultural Center." The building is included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. The photos are from November 2017."
