What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Santanyí's charming old town and the lively atmosphere of its Thursday and Saturday markets. The artisan shops are a highlight for those seeking unique souvenirs. However, some find the town a bit small and can be disappointed by the lack of a specific 'photo spot' like a grand monument.
"Cala d'Or sign at the roundabout, next to the palm trees, which shows this beautiful natural environment very well. The island of Mallorca, the Mediterranean Sea, the picturesque little coves of Cala d'Or, rocky and sandy beaches, everything is very beautiful here."
Csaba Biro
"Unfortunately, it's not a typical photo spot for vacation portraits. You'd have to walk around the meadows in the roundabout to take photos in front of it. We didn't do that. We wouldn't want to do that at home either. It's a shame; another crossing and a bit more space would make it perfect for vacation memories. As it is, it's just a sign on a traffic island. Very well maintained."
Dennis S.
"Overall disappointed by this small, charmless town."
