What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the incredible atmosphere at Suwon World Cup Stadium, particularly during football matches, with the Suwon ultras creating an electric vibe. The value for money is excellent, and the convenience of buying tickets on game day is a major plus. Some find the seating a bit tight for taller individuals, and alcohol is not allowed inside.
"Such an amazing atmosphere for a 2nd division match. 10,000 fans sounded like 100,00 fans. The Suwon ultras were class! As an English man the premier league and efl atmosphere is shocking (apart from Crystal Palace) and it really surprised me that the atmosphere was better in SK. If you want to sit with the ultras then buy tickets in the lower tier of N block. Tickets in N block are 17,000 won which is great value for a game of football. Tickets vendors take apple pay (they’re in the big blue cargo containers) but the club shop only takes Samsung pay so make sure to bring cash if you want to buy some souvenirs. I spontaneously went to the game with only an hour to get to the ground but there’s no stress buying tickets on the day at the ground. Up the Blue birds and up the Palace. PS you can’t take alcohol inside the ground unlike other stadiums in SK but you could collect it after the game in case it gets confiscated."

"Checked out Suwon Bluewings vs Gimpo FC. Highly recommend if you’re a foreigner attending their games. A lot of great history in this stadium, and there will most certainly be a seat or two for you. Best places to sit are the W sections. No need to get tickets in advance, there’s a ticket booth in the west side of the park. Also a great team store. Very vocal and proud fan base. If you are tall, I.e. over 6 foot, your legs may be pretty tight in between seats, so come prepared."

"I had the time of my life at the stadium. I went there to watch Suwon Samsung Bluewings vs FC Seoul. The atmosphere was incredible. The fans were really amazing and Suwon was unlucky today because they didn't put away the chances they had early on. The food trucks sell delicious food, inside when you're buying a beverage the line moves swiftly. I'd say if you're not sure where you're sitting bring a hat or an umbrella because the sun destroyed me today. Put on lots of sunscreen. I think I just found a new team to support thank you to all the fans for an incredible experience for me today as a foreigner. I really had a good time.
P.S Thank you to the gentleman that showed me the ticket booth 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽"
