What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Le Bonheur Reptiles & Adventures is highly praised for its educational and engaging reptile encounters, with friendly and knowledgeable guides making it a hit for families. While the setting is lovely and accommodation is comfortable, the on-site restaurant receives criticism for being overpriced and disappointing.
"We took a group of learners to visit this farm and the lady who received us was fantastic.
The guys that were doing the education talks with kids were friendly, patient and amazing.
I advise that when in Paarl to definitely pay them a visit with family too."
Nasiphi Matoni
"Had a fantastic time it was worth the money. It was an educational experience as well and the guide had a great sense of humour. Most definitely going back for the cage diving. The snake exhibit was also pretty great , getting to hold the snakes was pretty scary but amazing."
Ntonto Khumalo
"The setting is as lovely as always. But the food was incredibly disappointing. It’s extremely over priced for what you get, the presentation is poor and the quality dismal.
This “salad” cost R95. The picture speaks for itself. I’d love to be able to recommend this spot for families as it’s a lovely setting, but we won’t be going back unless the restaurant improves.
Note: I did email the establishment first to avoid doing a poor review, but never got a response."

For those planning a visit, it's wise to manage expectations regarding the restaurant. While the staff are praised for their educational roles, the culinary aspect seems to be an area for potential improvement. However, the overall experience of interacting with reptiles and the pleasant surroundings still make it a worthwhile destination for many.
