What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve is a highly praised urban gem offering a refreshing escape into nature. Visitors love the opportunity to see wildlife like zebras up close and enjoy the well-maintained, varied hiking trails. The free entry and family-friendly atmosphere are significant draws, though the restaurant can get busy on weekends.
"A nice place to go for a quick or longer walk on a nice sunny day. We have done a shorter walk that takes between 40 - 60 minutes depending on how fast you walk, but we also spent about 90 min, give or take, on another route to sight see a bit, but it can take longer. Note that there are in certain areas steeper inclines, so its not all flat. There is also a restaurant which has nice food and I, for one, loved their onion rings. There is a place for kiddies to play outside the restaurant."

"Such a lovely place to go with family. I took my nephew and nieces and it was so nice. Ilove how you randomly just meet animals on the way, it brings that fun and anticipation. Absolutely love the place"

"What a gem! There are various hiking trails, differing in length. There are bird hides, various animals and stunning flowers! I'll recommend, if you have time, taking the longer route, don't miss walking next to the stream.
There is a restaurant, but it was closed on the day we went."
