What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Victoria Yards for its inspiring inner-city regeneration, vibrant atmosphere, and the talent of its resident artists. It's celebrated as a hub for creativity and community development. Some find the market days can be crowded, and like any urban area, general awareness is advised.
"I like this place, you get to socialize, meet new people, many stalls ,nature, restaurants and a bar. There is so much tranquility if you need peace aswell."
Nothando Hlatshwako
"We went to the Bobby Nsenga experience event. The event organizers we amazing, very catering to my disability, as the place is not so wheelchair friendly. They upgraded my friend and I to the VIP section, where we met and greeted Bobby Nsenga. The venue is spacious. Bathrooms are not wheelchair friendly. There are stairs to the bathroom."
Lebo “Lebz” Maseko
"We went for a pottery class but got so much more. The space was welcoming and the history behind the building is interesting. So many different shops selling some really ingenious items. Food options are good, tried the Fish&Chips, they were quite busy and it seems I was given a parcel that was sitting and waiting for someone for a bit. But it tasted good. The food from Ma Cucina was less desirable.
Victoria Yards also has a bar area and a vast area to wander and enjoy. The vegetable gardens were well looked after and a welcome green-ness in the City."
