What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Golden Gate Highlands National Park for its breathtaking scenery, particularly the glowing sandstone cliffs and dramatic mountain ranges. The well-maintained trails and opportunities for wildlife spotting are also major draws. Some find the main road busy, but recommend the scenic loops for a better experience.
"We stayed at the Noord Brabant House which is a stand alone house in Sanparks. It is a very old house and the amenities are extremely basic. The house need to be updated as there is not enough seating for a family of 6, but a total of six beds. It is a very tranquil place and the view is unbelievable! The baboons play in the tree at the back of the house so beware and close everything. We woke up one morning with the Zebra's grazing a few metres from the house."
