"Zelenci Spring – A Must-Visit in Kranjska Gora
Zelenci Spring is an absolute must-visit when you're in Kranjska Gora. The place is stunning — the vivid colors of the lake are mesmerizing, and the contrast between the crystal-clear water and the surrounding Alps creates a breathtaking landscape.
The water is incredibly clear; you can see right to the bottom of the lake. It’s about a 7-minute walk from the parking area, and the path is flat and easy, making it perfect for families. We visited with kids, and they really enjoyed the walk and the views.
Although it's a small area, it can feel crowded even with just 10 visitors, so we recommend going on a weekday afternoon for a quieter experience. Don’t miss climbing up the wooden viewing ramp — it offers the best panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains.
We also noticed signs warning about snakes, so it’s best to stay on the designated trail and avoid stepping into the grass or off-path areas."

"Free to visit and park — and what an incredible view on a sunny day! The reflection on the water is so perfect, it feels like an AI-generated photo, but it’s real — you have to see it to believe it! 😄"

"We stopped at the café on our way (I also left a review there), and after lunch we visited the lake. I’m giving it 4 stars only because there are two other beautiful lakes not far from here (for example, in Italy) that I rated 5 stars — this one is nothing particularly special. But if you’re already stopping to eat, then of course it’s worth taking a look at the lake as well."
