What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Singapore Science Centre for its engaging, hands-on exhibits that make learning fun for all ages. The live shows, particularly the Tesla Coil demonstration, are a major highlight. While some find it more geared towards children, many adults appreciate the educational value and interactive nature of the displays. The affordability, especially for local residents on weekdays, adds to its appeal.
"One day is not enough, there are so many things to see and experience! Highlights for us were definitely the Tesla coil and Fire Tornado shows, both absolutely amazing. Entrance ticket price is really worth it for the variety of exhibits.
The downsides: only two food options (and not very good ones), the centre closes at 5 pm which feels too early, and a few exhibits were broken and could use better maintenance. But overall, it’s still a fantastic place for kids and families to learn, play, and be inspired."

"If you’re an adult or child, who have the interest in science. This could be one of your weekend/ holiday destinations.
There are shows (lighting and fire tornado) at certain timings that is just amazing to watch. Being a place more catered to children, there are a lot of interactive displays. Overall, I have a positive experience towards the exhibitions.
However… other than being a little out of the way to get to… the other con for me was the lack of order.
Over-crowding at some stations and lack of parental / staff guidance leads to kids snatching booths from other kids and even insults. Honestly very sad to see because children, if not held accountable, will grow up to be the trauma or traumatised.
My suggestion is just to have more ground staff to ensure order when things get too heated."

Very happy to revisit here again, as it brings back many fond memories of my school days.
Place is also clean and well maintained.
