"I was so pleased to discover this new museum when I got back to my hometown after a long time. We loved the exhibits, the amazing doll collection belonging to Elena Orbocea which is a must see and the very representative displays of every culture present in the Dobrogea region. It is really unique especially for this reason: the ethnic diversity and I was even surprised to learn many new things about this magnificent little part of Romania. I can only hope that for the future, more cultural places like this one will appear for the sake of our future generations."

"The museum is in a very good state and it's well arranged and taken care of. You can see people are doing a great job at maintaining it. It used to be the National Bank before so they still have the walk-in safe which they used to show some exponats, sadly is locked and you can only see them looking through the gratings. They also have a modern glass suspended bridge from where you can see a big part of the first floor from above. All in all very interesting and the price very affordable."

"The Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art reflects, through the diversity of collections, a unique cultural model generated in Dobrogea by the ethnic coexistence between the Romans and the other populations"
