"Never in my entire life did I see such stunning mountain peaks. We arrived at the perfect timing with no people in sight, until all the tourists came with about 20 landrovers. If you plan accordingly you can stumble upon this beautiful mountain range privately. Highly recommend on going around 12-2pm."

"It was a great spot to give a great overview over the city of Funchal. There were personell on the spot to help us non native portugese with the machine.
Walking out to the viewpoint it is a nice looking promenade, then it opens up to the platform. The platform itself, the glass, could be cleaned some. Other than that I fo not have much to add.
Of this writing, the entry fee is 2€. The price is just affordable enough that I do not have a problem with it, if it increases, I am not sure I would have payed for it."
