"I nearly didn't make the effort to visit the Porto De Camara De Lobos but I'm very glad I did as it's a stunning location home to fine cafes and shops and a number of interesting things to see. Many of the doors have been decorated with art and the same for some of the street walls. This location was a favourite for British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and so a lot of the local cafes and hotels include the name Churchill. There is also a statue of Churchill on the harbour front. It's a very pretty place that is well worth a visit .. Recommended."

"This is a beautiful small port town / village. The streets are lined with imaginative decorations, mainly using recycled matetials. Lots of little restaurants with a few shops. Photo opportunities at every turn.
It does get very busy though and the cars driving through the narrow streets are a distraction. Well worth a visit though."
