"It was a beautiful experience for our 18 month old daughter. The infrastructure was very family friendly for small children. Still, it is a zoo, many of the animals had a to small cage and on a sunny day you have to have a Sunbrella with you.
Would I do it again? yes, to give my daughter a better feeling and understanding of nature and animals.
For myself and older people I say, spend more money and try to see those animals in real life and appreciate the rarity of it."

"Surprisingly okay zoo. Not the best ever or spectacular but it was well laid out, animals seemed to be in okay condition. The zoo buildings were okay And the toilets were also okay. It was a nice quiet day away from busy Porto. Food and beverage prices were also okay. 2.7 euro for 1.5 liter of water was acceptable."

"Very nice small zoo near Porto. Transportation little bit problematic (I upset Bolt for both ways). But nice animals, nice place ,all the refreshments opens at 11 and later so be prepared. It was really hot weather but there is enough shade spots."
