While the main grounds are free, separate tickets are needed for the museum and towers. Some visitors note the limited time needed for a full exploration.
"The visit is pleasant and can last less than 1 hour.
I didn't note the prices, but first you pay a cheap ticket to climb the hill and see it from the outside. Next to the circular tower, you go down and with another ticket a little more expensive you can enter the small museum beneath it, and then another ticket to visit the rectangular tower.
Along the main road there is a large paid dirt parking lot. Taking the road leading to the castle, before the no-entry sign, turning right leads to a free parking lot (Monday to Friday only).
The castle dates back to the mid-13th century and, over the years, has suffered numerous attacks that have caused damage that has been repaired several times. Today, only a portion of the original remains, as it was reduced to ruins by an attack by Swedish troops in the mid-16th century. With the widespread use of cannons, defensive castles were outdated, and it was not rebuilt."
