What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Crisologo Museum for its authentic collection of personal artifacts and well-preserved ancestral home, offering a genuine glimpse into a prominent family's life. The donation-based entry is appreciated for supporting the non-government-funded institution, though some note the heat in certain areas due to limited air conditioning.
"This museum is very well laid out. They have an easy to follow route and it's a one-way trip but you have all the time in the world that you want. Unfortunately some of the displays have just been damaged from the humidity and lack of temperature control but most the museum is in good shape. I believe a couple of the rooms have aircon as well. It doesn't take very long to walk through everything but it's a good little stop if it's your first time in Vigan."
Jeremy Bowling
"Admission to the museum is free, but the staff won’t let you proceed unless you put money into the donation box.
You can see a wide variety of items and get a glimpse into what life was like for the wealthy during that era. There were plenty of collections, including clothing, perfume, shoes, furniture, and tableware."
Kana Miya
"Thoroughly enjoyed it. The bottom floor was so hot though. All the fans were unplugged. It was great for a donation only museum."
