"Majestic even in the rain!
Visited Pinsal Falls this July—rainy but totally worth it. The falls were strong and stunning due to the rainfall. Trails were a bit slippery, so wear proper footwear. Less crowded, more serene. Nature at its rawest!"

"I will say that all the locals advised us not to go to Pinsal Falls, but we had to check it out for ourselves. We took a trike to get there and it was about 20min. Our feelings were mixed:
We loved: the scenic falls, jumping off the rocks, the mini hike above the falls, the bird watching, and being able to cool off on a HOT afternoon.
Didn't love: came at wrong time of the year so water was not as fresh as I imagine it is during rainy season, the bathrooms are not even functional and yet they still charge to use them, the trails/facilities are not maintained and it made me question where the money received is going....? Certainly not back into restoring the infrastructure.
Sadly I agree with another review, mismanagement of monetary resources will lead to further disrepair. Beautiful place, but for how much longer..."

"Pinsal Falls was so much fun! We went on a Monday at around 10:30 am and it was not busy and we had no wait. I’m not sure how busy it gets on other days like weekends, but there were only 2 other boats when we went.
The falls were beautiful and the water felt great. We brought lunch with us from chowking so we could eat on the boat by the waterfall. The boat was comfortable with plenty of space, and it cost us ₱600 pisos which we thought was a good price.
The most amazing part was climbing up the little stars in the side of the rocks to the top of the waterfall. The stairs definitely aren’t for everyone, but if you can handle it you absolutely NEED to go up there! There were hundreds of small natural pools and waterfalls you can swim it and it was such a beautiful sight.
Pinsal falls was very convenient, hassle free, beautiful, fun, and memorable!!! It was a great addition to our vacation in the Philippines!"

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Consider bringing life vests for younger swimmers as the water can be strong. The balsa ride offers a safer way for families to enjoy the water. While bathroom facilities may be lacking, packing plenty of snacks and drinks is a good idea. The climb to the top pools might be too challenging for very young children, so assess your kids' abilities before attempting it. :sandwich:
💰 Budget Travelers
To maximize savings, pack your own food and water. This avoids the need to purchase from potentially limited or non-existent vendors. Visiting on weekdays can also contribute to a more peaceful and less crowded experience without additional cost. :dollar:
🌿 Nature Enthusiasts
Be prepared for a less manicured environment. The natural state of the trails and facilities is part of its charm for some, offering a glimpse into nature's untamed side. The hope is for preservation over excessive development, allowing the natural ecosystem to thrive. :leafy_green:
