What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pescador Island offers a captivating underwater world with vibrant corals and diverse marine life, including the famous sardine run nearby. Visitors praise the friendly locals and guides who prioritize safety and conservation. However, some note that coral recovery is ongoing and jellyfish can be present, impacting the snorkeling experience for a few.
"We paid 700 pesos each to reach the island with our own snorkeling gear. The boat trip was the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the corals are still recovering, and we only encountered three or four fish species that we hadn’t seen at White Beach. There were also jellyfish in the water. We swam for about 40 minutes. While we don’t regret the experience, we wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting a mind-blowing snorkeling adventure."

"We were a family of 4 certified divers visiting Moalboal from the U.S. in July. We went diving with Turtle Bay Dive Resort Center. Our dive master, Dennis, was professional and had our safety in mind. The current was a little strong and our dive master & crew were cautious. The visibility wasn’t as clear as other places we have dove. There was lot of sealife."
Catherine Hunt
"Ive been snorkling to Boracay, Bohol, Bantayan, Camuigin and more, but this is the best snorkling experience I had. You can see the beautiful paradise under the sea here. 🌊 that feeling that you dont want to leave the island. Trully recommended and a must snorkling in Moalboal. My camera cannot capture the real beauty of the place, so magical and colorful, I hope they can preserve this beauty and hopefully the corals are safe when I can come back."
