What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wonderful Cave is appreciated for its cool, clear waters and child-friendly access, offering a refreshing natural dip. While smaller than other cave systems, its ecological value, particularly the balinsasayaw bird colony, is a unique draw. Some visitors note it's less developed, which contributes to its charm for those seeking a quieter experience.
"Must admit: I wasn't expecting much. If you compare this to the caves of the North like the ones in Baguio or Sagada.. this is miniscule. That said there is an entrance fee, at time of writing it is Php 100 and parking of Php 20. It is being managed by the family that is in the property. The local tourism office collects fees and doesn't manage this at all. The cave is small and shallow and you can bring school age children. It is less crowded than the enchanted cave. That said there is a second cave in this property, it is not much but for its ecological value,it must be protected. It is home to a very small colony of balinsasayaw birds. I was very happy to see these small birds that are thriving. That cave is not developed as it can be unsafe specially if u are wet so photos have been taken by the care taker of cave.. they do not harvest the nests and have no intention to do so and that's a very good thing. The bird is not in the endangered list but is "threatened" in Palawan so seeing them thrive in other regions is a wonderful suprise"

"Luckily, we went there morning and on a weekday. It's just us family there.
Easy to visit as it is child friendly 2-3mns walk upto their man made stairs.
Clean water and fascinated with little crabs on the floor.
Ensure everybody gets in with lifejacket to float. We were warned of some sharp rocks/stones at the bottom on the left side of the cave.
Came there with children ages 1 - 9yo."
