What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the beautiful and peaceful views of Ambuklao Dam and its mountainous surroundings. Many appreciate it as a convenient stopover during road trips, noting the good photo opportunities from the raised viewpoint and the availability of basic amenities like shops and restrooms. However, some reviews point out the unfortunate sight of garbage in the water, which detracts from the natural beauty.
"Beautiful view!
On the other side of the dam where you see water spilling is a “lake” which is the same water before spilling out over the dam and you can see a large island of garbage. So, that is garbage we throw on the streets washed down by the rain going towards the dam.
But other than that, it is a beautiful and peaceful view. There are signs that say boat rides are available and to contact a phone number. I am not sure if those are still active but I did see banka’s there but no one manning them. Most likely be side it is Jan 1 and everyone’s still knocked out from last nights festivities."
