Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Baguio Cathedral for its stunning pink facade, serene atmosphere, and panoramic city views, making it an iconic landmark. While some find it can feel crowded and more like a tourist spot than a prayer place, many appreciate the opportunity for quiet reflection and spiritual connection. The architecture and historical significance are consistently highlighted as major draws.

"Baguio’s cool air always feels like a reset—but this Sunday, standing before the Baguio Cathedral, it felt like more than that. It was church #21 out of our 52 for the year, and this one stopped us in our tracks.

The twin spires rising above Session Road, the soft pink façade, and the sweeping steps leading up—it looked like a postcard. But once inside, it was the silence that got me. Amid the stained glass and hushed prayers, my wife and I watched our three girls light candles beneath the statue of Our Lady of Atonement.

They didn’t speak. They just stood in stillness—rare, beautiful stillness.

For a dad, moments like that linger.

This cathedral wasn’t just impressive—it was calming. It reminded me that amid our noisy schedules and long drives, grace still finds us in quiet corners. Church #21 left a mark. Not just because of how it looked, but because of how it made us feel: grateful, grounded, and just a little more whole."

"As a foreigner, I think this is one of the most beautiful looking church I’ve seen in philippines. Even more than those in Manila. Not only how nice it looks from the outside, but the inside too.
It was quite hard to reached here from the side (the steep stairs from session road) but once I’m here, I loved it. I can understand how is this place becoming such an iconic landmark of Baguio City. And turns out, many locals are coming here by cars so not everyone had to climbing the stairs."

Fidela Callista

"Visited the Baguio Cathedral on a Sunday and it was a beautiful experience. The church was very crowded during Mass, and getting a seat wasn’t guaranteed unless you arrived early. I recommend coming as early as possible if you plan to attend Mass.
If you’re just visiting to pray or appreciate the place, you can come at any time. The cathedral is peaceful, stunning, and definitely worth a visit when you’re in Baguio."
