What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Parque de las Leyendas for its well-maintained animals and diverse exhibits, including native Peruvian wildlife and ancient ruins. The ability to bring your own food is a significant plus. However, some mention issues with restroom facilities lacking locks and toilet paper, and weekends can get quite crowded.
"We been there in Saturday right in the morning, it was very organized, very clean, a lot of places to buy food and souvenirs, it’s looks like the animals are getting good care, nice place to come and visit for people how like different zoos, the only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the toilet cubicles were without locks and lack of toilet paper 🧻."

"I went on a Sunday, it was crowded. I was afraid it would be impossible to walk around the park, even though the experience was nice after all. Besides the zoo it self, there are many other attractions and activities to do, especially if you’re a kid. The best option to scape the queue is to buy the tickets on line on your phone, go directly to the entrance gate and show the QR code to the guard. Enjoy"

"Great experience seeing animals that are native to Peru, especially the ones in the Sierra and Selva: condors, vicunas, alpacas, variety of monkeys (including the smallest one in South America), otorongos (jaguars), other different large felines, ronsocos (capybaras), etc.
Recommend coming during weekdays when it is not as busy so you can snap better pictures of your favorite animals."
