Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find Galleri Lofoten to be a worthwhile stop, appreciating the diverse art collection that spans historical and contemporary pieces. The gallery's setting in picturesque Henningsvær and the onsite cafe are also frequently praised. Some minor critiques mention lighting issues on certain exhibits and the desire for more in-depth information on some pieces.

"The gallery has a nice variety of art, mixing both older and more modern pieces. Personally, I enjoyed the older works more as they are more detailed and realistic, but there is something for everyone. One downside was on the third floor, where some images were placed in a darker wall / corner and not well lit, making them harder to appreciate. Overall, a good visit if you are in the area."

Miguel WaldeckTBD

"Nicw 3 story gallery with an interesting movie, some old classical Norway Oil paintings and some newer pieces upstairs, historical photos and other items also. Nice giftshop, cafe and bathroom as well."

David Korosec

"A lovely little gallery set over 3 floors and in absolutely stunning surroundings. On arrival we watched a short film highlighting the history of the Lofoten islands and some of the featured artists.
Then we were free to explore the exhibits. We were impressed how large the building felt, mainly due to the way everything is set out. We spent about 40 minutes looking around though you could easily spend longer. After this we visited the gift shop where we purchased new jackets at a very reasonable price. The curator was very welcoming and helpful. Then we had a nice rewarding coffee in the onsite cafe. Overall a very good visit."
