"The view deserves 5 stars BUT it is definitely the most challenging hike we did in Lofoten. The first challenge is finding the right path at the start and staying on it. In some places, you have to give your all and climb. Feasible for fit people with good footwear. Otherwise, it might be better to turn back at the lake, which is reached after 30-45 minutes. The ascent took us 1 hour and 40 minutes. The view is worth it."

"It’s not moderate hike and very challenging. As acrophobia person, I was on my hands and feet most of the time. I would not start the hike if I knew how difficult it is. Yes, the view from the top is amazing."

"So steep, so fun! Hard to find entrances. We didn’t want to do the trail with ropes (facing the SEA) so we chose the “back” side trail through the forest (facing the LAKE). You go past the first parking lot all the way down the road, which curves uphill, and the trail starts on the left. Park at the dead end. Going back down this trail was not as hard as expected, but requires concentration and going very slowly. Incredible views the whole way, even if you don’t reach the summit"
