"Stunning
Great walking trail and suitable for all.
All being the right word as the world and his wife showed up all at once. Get their early or atheist before the tour buses. 9am is late.
Still nice and great spots along the walk to look out from."
Ben Carey
"Absolutely lovely walk, some inclines (up and down) but most are set up with stairs. Going down to the little beach does involve some clambering on and over rocks and might get slippery when wet, so take care.
Beautiful sights, the waters vary in colour and we're a beautiful bright turquoise when we were there.
Absolutely no swimming as the currents are quite dangerous, which is signposted clearly.
Would recommend being fairly early, we arrived around 10 and had no problem parking, but when we left an hour later parking spaces seemed to be getting scarce."
Petra Ghuijs
"Hokitika Gorge is absolutely stunning! The turquoise-blue water is unreal, and the surrounding forest makes it feel like a hidden paradise. The swing bridge adds a bit of adventure and gives amazing photo opportunities. Even just standing and taking in the views is incredible—it’s one of those spots that looks even better in person than in pictures. A must-visit if you’re on the West Coast!"
