Driving through the tulip fields
Hey all! I wanted to surprise my wife by driving through the tulip farms while its in full color. Which road would be best and which area? We've been to the keukenhof but not the farms full of colorful tulip fields yet. Is it too late to do this now or too early?

I would like to go to the tulip fields near Lisse. Do you have any recommendations to where exactly I should go other than Keukenhof itself?
Rent a NS bike at station Lisse and cycle on of these routes. Have fun! https://bollenstreek.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Keukenhof-fietsroute@4x-1024x724.png
Blossoming tulip fields in Den Helder, the Netherlands
Just went to Keukenhof and the fields around Noordwijkerhout super early in the morning to avoid the tourists. It was getting crowded around 11:00 and it's insane how many people I saw walking all over the grass and/or destroying the tulips for pictures

Things to see in Leiden and surrounding
I'm going to be in Leiden a couple of days around May. Maybe things like museums will be open back, maybe not. Is there anything else in Leiden and around interesting to see? (I could come with car if worth and reach up to the coast). Old buildings, special places, etc
