We visited Keukenhof April 2025 today, but the tulips haven’t bloomed yet. And Keukenhof is still charging full price.

"Here is absolutely stunning fields of colorful flowers, especially tulips, everywhere you look. It was quite crowded with tourists, but the atmosphere was still enjoyable. Outside the park, we rented bikes and explored the endless beautiful flower fields around Lisse a fantastic experience! Despite the crowds, I’d definitely love to come back."

"One of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Highly recommended for people who love nature, flowers and looking for a day out to spend time close to nature. Amazing views and wide variety of Tulips. I have taken day trip from Amsterdam and it was well worth it."

Roy Augustin

"This place is just magical. There are no words to describe the place when it's in its full bloom. It's a riot of colours. The place is well kept, well manicured and just when you think these are just carefully done flower beds, there comes a canal or a section of trees that just takes your breath away.

There were a lot of people and yet it's easy to just focus on the flowers. I would strongly recommend going to this place.

Getting there can be a bit hard. I took a bus from the Schipol airport. I went there early and was fortunate to get a bus quickly. The queue behind me became very long very quickly, much beyond the capacity of several long trailer busses.

The road leading to Keukenhof is narrow and it took us around 30 minutes covering the last 1 odd kilometre.

Please buy bus and keukenhof tickets well in advance. I reached around an hour before the time in my tickets and that wasn't a problem."
