"Wow such a wonderful educational experience!! The area is stunning, our guide was so informative, he answered all our questions and shared so much history and insight about bees and the Mayan stingless Bee. It was so cool to walk down into the cave area to see the beehives hanging from the top of the cave. We got to try traditional Mayan food made by a Mayan Elder and continued our walk to see different bee species and see them up close being busy bee's in their hive boxes. Afterwards we got to taste the different honey products they have, and homemade lotions made from the honey. Highly recommend, I learned sooo much and would definitely go again!! They have a nice little store to buy the products if you'd like and other souvenirs.
They have camping available they provide tents, and or rent traditional cabins, they have a nice swim area, everything is so thought out nicely. The bees are well taken care of, they are free to be in their habitat without disturbance and you learn so much!!"

"Very nice drop-in stop on the way back from Chichen Itza, or while in Valladolid. Such a nice conversation and tour and tasting. This is not just a bee-keeping tour -- it is a Mayan culture tour as well. Check timing ahead of time... he didn't want to start outside of the usual tour time, so we waited a half hour. Double check the pricing too, as it isn't posted - I think we paid more than we should have for just the tour."

"Loved this place! I loved getting to have a non-typical experience visiting this city and getting to learn about the indigenous bee species and how they were used by the indigenous peoples. The tour guide was a wealth of info and I'm so impressed. It was not busy - I was the only person on the tour on the day I went and it was so fun."
