What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa Paraiso is widely loved for its stunning natural beauty, featuring soft sand and clear waters, making it a top beach destination. Visitors appreciate the comfortable beach club amenities and attentive service, though some note that outside food and drinks are restricted and there can be access fees. Despite minor drawbacks, it's considered a worthwhile experience for a magical beach day.
"Playa Paraíso is a beautiful and very easy beach to visit from Tulum town. It’s the most straightforward option if you want a clean, calm start to the beaches here. Taxi from town is usually 400–500 MXN each way, and the Jaguar National Park entrance is 120 MXN.
The beach itself is stunning, and the beach club has great food, helpful English-speaking staff, and good facilities. Simple and comfortable.
It is expensive, yes, but this is a national park and we should protect the nature we enjoy. For transport out of the park, the Colectivo Electrónico works well, and biking is honestly the best option overall.
Always bring water and electrolytes. The sun here is strong, and it makes the whole experience much easier."

"In my opinion, Playa Paraíso Beach Club has one of the best and cleanest beaches in the area. While other beaches were covered in seaweed, this one was crystal clear and spotless, thanks to the natural reef and man-made reef that help protect the shoreline.
The lounge area is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of shaded spots, umbrellas, loungers, and beach beds—perfect for relaxing all day. The restrooms are air-conditioned and extremely clean, which is a huge plus.
The restaurant service was excellent—quick, friendly, and attentive. Every dish we tried was fresh and delicious, and I found the prices very fair, especially for a beachfront location.
I’ll definitely be coming back to this beach club. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, and relaxing beach experience."

"Scammers: Watch out. They added multiple items that we did not order to our bill and asked for payment without reviewing the bill. It took over 30 minutes of negotiating to get to a manager and be charged for the fair items that we received. They thrive on taking advantage of busy and unknowledgeable tourists as their scheme for years that continues today.
They promise to refund your Parque Jaguar fees and will not do so or make it as hard as possible if you remember to ask for it. This is a false offer.
When Tulum's leaders wonder why the economy is declining and failing-- it's this ongoing, repeated abuse of tourists that will continue to decrease tourists coming to the city. SAD"
