They took the time to explain the story behind the creation of some of their pieces to us. It’s also a really impressive range of styles for one family (I was especially moved by the emotionality of some of the father’s paintings), and the building itself is also a beautiful—an old colonial house, with a leafy courtyard, high ceilings, and patterned tiled floors.
