What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Oriental Village is a lively hub at the base of the Langkawi SkyCab, offering a colorful atmosphere, shops, and smaller attractions like a 3D museum and zoo. While many appreciate its charm and convenience as a starting point for the SkyCab, some find the food options overpriced and the village itself can get crowded and hot during peak times.
"Many tourist don’t even know the existence of this place before they reach here for the cable car ride. In fact this is a complete tourist service area having a hotel (not expensive), some restaurants, some cafe, outdoor activity service provider like atv, mini zoo, and other main attraction like the 3d museum and Langkawi cable car and sky bridge. Basically one can stay here without going out for 2-3 days without getting bored, but the down side is that if you want to go out for food or anything, it’s quite a distance to travel."

"Oriental Village is a lively place at the foot of the Langkawi Cable Car. There are plenty of shops, cafés, and small attractions to enjoy before or after the SkyCab ride. The area is clean and well maintained, with beautiful mountain views all around. A good place to spend a few hours, especially with family and kids."

"Nestled at the foot of Mount Mat Cincang in western Langkawi, Oriental Village is a lively open‑air complex that makes for a great half or full day outing. Free entry to the village and easy parking. Plenty of facilities like ATMs, prayer rooms, toilets . but It can get crowded, especially midday or holiday time. Also the restaurants and the foods here are over‑priced and underwhelming. But we had a good experience here and had some awesome pictures."
